I just started a tumblog named Ugly UI, it is dedicated to collect bad practices of user interface in this world.  These examples will show what we should avoid in our own design.

I know a good design is not always a beautiful one but a useful one, and we don’t want to select these design totally by our own flavor, so you’re most welcome to contribute some of ugly interface design in you mind.

Just received The Icon Handbook, I skimmed a little Jon's book and really found it's worthwhile reading.  There are a bunch of interviews, tutorials and spec for different readers from beginners to experts, the smell of the book stinks, though.  :D

Just found...does the digit "1" in the badge notifier mean there's only one model to be released this time?

I came across the promo video of Demon Cam before I realize it's an iPhone App, thus I was quite surprised by the Hollywood-quality movie!  As one of my friends said, don't whether they use movie to promote the app or promote the movie using an app!

Even though I don't think this app is quite attracting and I've seen quite a lot similar apps before, you still can't miss the movie on their site!

My best friend Leon's blog is finally live again: leongao.com.  He also released a cute itsy theme named "Leaf".  And I'm calling your attention to check out his about page, the flickr icon is really a highlight!  :D

Stumbled upon Mockmoon's amazing nature time lapse videos via H++s blog(The creator of the Logo for Office: Mac 2011).

Rivers, mountains, skies, clouds, stars and even milky way, every wonderful nature elements are slowly moving and changing against the soft music.  These places are like paradise and I can't even breath when watching since they are really really touching down to my soul!
